PROPITIATION

A Change Of Clothing ... A New Covering Of Sins Before God

"Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God." Rom. 3:24, 25.

"Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered." Rom. 4:7.

"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." 1 John 2:1, 2.

"Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered." Psalms 32:1.

"Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah." Psalm 85:2.

"And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins." 1 Pet. 4:8.
